2023 Crikey! Magazine Photography Competition
Australia Zoo’s Crikey! Magazine Photography Competition started seven years ago and has grown to be one of the largest of its kind in Australia, with thousands of entries being received from passionate photographers around the world.
Today, the global reach of the Crikey! Magazine Photography Competition provides a means for encouraging greater public appreciation of our wildlife and wild places, and inspires action to conserve it for future generations.
This year’s entries were judged by nature photographers including, Robert Irwin, Paul Nicklen, Cristina Mittermeier, Kate Berry, Georgina Steytler, Day Scott and Gary Cranitch.
“ In an era of global change, nature is declining at an unparalleled rate and it has never been more important to promote the conservation of our wildlife and wild places. Through the Crikey! Magazine Photography Competition, it is our mission to showcase the natural world and inspire others to conserve it for future generations. "
